This website is provided for information. By using it you accept these terms. We may revise them; the version published here is the one in force. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Nature of published material

The Archive, the research and technology pages and the material describing our sites and programmes are original written work produced by Sentinel Research Group. They are published as an account of the institution's own interests and should not be treated as a factual record of external events, nor cited as a source about any third party. Where a document carries a date, a measurement or a reference number, those are internal conventions of this publication.

No advice, no warranty

Nothing here constitutes engineering, security, legal, medical or financial advice, and nothing should be relied upon in the design or operation of a system on which people depend. The site is provided as is. We make no warranty that it will be available, accurate or free of error, and we exclude liability for loss arising from its use to the extent the law allows.

Independence

Sentinel Research Group is an independent, privately endowed research institution. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government, military, intelligence, regulatory or law enforcement body in any jurisdiction, and it holds no public authority of any kind. Where our writing uses handling markings such as “restricted” or “controlled”, those describe our own internal publication conventions and correspond to no national or international classification scheme.

Intellectual property

All text, documents, branding, illustration, layout and source code on this site are the original work of Sentinel Research Group and remain its property. You may read, link to and quote from the material with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale, present it as your own, or reproduce it in a way that implies endorsement.

Names and likenesses

Personal names appearing in published documents are either withheld or are internal designations. No living individual is depicted. Any resemblance between Sentinel Research Group and an unrelated entity of a similar name is coincidental and unintended; if you believe a resemblance is close enough to cause confusion, write to us and we will change it.

Third-party assets

The typeface is Space Grotesk, used under the SIL Open Font License. It is the only third-party asset the site loads. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking components — see Privacy for what that means in practice.

Security

Vulnerabilities in this website should be reported under our coordinated disclosure policy, which sets out scope, expectations and safe harbour.
